We were asked to take a series of photograph in the studio and then using photoshop respond to Magnins work
These are all the pictures I have fully edited, as you can see I took inspiration from Gordon Magnini and fragmented the picture.

Almer Haser- Cosmic Surgery
Cosmic surgery is a procedure where people have the choice of closer features for aesthetic enhancement. Almer suggested that her work is meant to not be too inspired by other artists, and she enjoys experimenting with it.

Chris Killip is a photographer highliting the people who suffered within the 1970s to the 80s due to a sudden economic shift. His pictures are supposed to convey the fear that people had gone through from this incident.

Here I had taken an inspiration from the artist Malic Kebes work. I used contrast on photoshop and colour balance to make the tones appear more yellow. The contrast was to emphasise the silhouette.

For this I went on photoshop and deconstructed my classmates face and put it back together to create a different meaning. This helps with the meaning of fragments.

Simplified images
I edited the first picture to give it a cartoon look like the artist Michael Craig Martin. What I did was use the polygonal lasso tool to cut out the parts I wanted to fill in with bright colours, this is what helped give it a carton aesthetic.
